CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The front door of a store was shattered Monday in the South Loop.

Someone broke the glass entrance with an unknown object at about 2 a.m. at a retail business in the 1200 block of South Canal Street, Chicago police said. An employee didn’t see or hear the incident, but found the shattered glass.

A 24-hour Walgreens is located in that block near the intersection of Canal and Roosevelt Road.

Officers found no evidence of gunfire and no one was injured, police said.

No arrests have been made. Area Central detectives are investigating.
