Truck Crashes Into Brighton Park Building

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A pickup truck slammed into a building Wednesday in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

The collision happened about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 4400 block of South Archer Avenue, Chicago police said.

According to the owner of the 1999 Ford F-150, he left the truck idling while he went to a bank, police said.

He told investigators someone got into the truck and crashed into the building, police said.

No injuries were reported and the building sustained structural damage, police said.
