CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A man pretending to be lost carjacked a woman at gunpoint Monday in Roscoe Village on the North Side.

A 27-year-old woman parked her 2018 Honda Fit at about 4:08 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Seeley Avenue when a man in his early 20s approached her, Chicago police said. He pretended he was lost, but during the conversation, he pulled out a handgun and demanded her cellphone and vehicle.

The woman complied, and the man drove off northbound, police said. No one is in custody.
