(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 23-year-old Chicago man has been charged with first-degree murder for allegedly beating another man to death with a baseball bat in Albany Park earlier this week, Chicago police said.
Carl Noffz was taken into custody around 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 4800 block of North Central Park when police officers responded to the scene of a fatal beating. A 28-year-old man had been struck several times in the head and face with a baseball bat and was pronounced dead at the scene, Chicago police said.
Police previously called the incident domestic in nature.
Noffz was expected to appear in bond court Thursday.
