NORTH RIVERSIDE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – As you can imagine, it’s hard to get a seat at Mother’s Day Restaurant in North Riverside on the actual Mother’s Day Holiday.
The eatery at 8815 W Cermak Road was started decades ago by the family of Angelo Paleothdoros.
“My father and my uncle started the business. I think they were a couple of momma’s boys,” he tells WBBM Newsradio’s Terry Keshner. “They also say every creature has a mother, and they love the holiday.”
Restaurant operators bring in their own mothers and have dinner at the end of the day.
