NAPERVILLE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Naperville Fire Department published an exercise video geared toward families sheltering in place.

The video, posted to the department's Facebook page, is called "Quarantine Fitness" and features exercises by 28-year-old firefighter and paramedic Eddie Fausto meant to increase mental and physical wellbeing during the pandemic.
"At the fire department, we recommend roughly 30 to 60 minutes of exercise three times per week," said Fausto. "It not only improves mental wellbeing but improves physical strength, cardiovascular strength and overall health."

Need exercise examples and makeshift equipment to use from home? Fausto is here to help.

A couple of examples: Do pushups against the wall if that’s what you can manage. Or if you are feeling more confident: do the traditional on-the-floor pushup. And if you don’t have any weights, use a couple of bottles of windshield wiper fluid. --

The firefighters also explain the do's and do not's of each workout, so you can rest assured you are doing the exercise correctly.
