CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, right?
Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey is bringing back O'Everyone, its national St. Patrick's Day pop-up celebration that welcomes everyone to become Irish on St. Patrick's Day.
Launched last year, O'Everyone saw thousands of people around the U.S. create custom t-shirts with their "O'Last Name" on full display (example: O'Rivera, O'Roth, O'Chao). New this year is the addition of a series of pop-up Irish pubs that can take on the name of anyone who enters.
On Thursday and Friday, guests can visit the pop up at Chicago's Union Station. The pop-up will be open 1-8 p.m. Thursday and noon-8 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, guests will enter their last name or nickname into an iPad, and the signage for the bar will change to reflect their O'Last Name for a keepsake photo, in traditional Irish font and style. Once inside, a photo wall will display the attendee images, showing a lively and diverse community ready to celebrate. Guests will be able to enjoy Tullamore D.E.W. samples and have their own custom O'Everyone t-shirts printed.
The O'Everyone pubs will be gathering places for friends and strangers to toast St. Patrick's Day 2020 in Chicago, as well as New York City, Los Angeles, and Denver.
Anyone who cannot visit the pubs can purchase their custom O'Everyone t-shirts at www.OEveryone.com now, ensuring that truly everyone can become a part of the celebration, in uniform, on St. Patrick's Day weekend.
"Tullamore D.E.W. is on a mission to encourage the world to blend," Neville said. "Our whiskey was made for moments like this, when friends come together for special occasions, tell stories, raise a toast, and just share in good company."
