CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- For people arriving in Chicago from warm weather destinations, the bitter cold that's coming can be especially challenging.
Danon Bolden returned home to Midway from Miami, after taking a Caribbean cruise.
"I'll probably hibernate for the next day or two," he told WBBM Newsradio's Jim Gudas Monday.
Bolden among the lucky ones who gets to go home.
With more than 1,000 flights cancelled at Midway and O'Hare because of the weather, many people are stuck waiting for flights out and often not sure when they'll get out.
