White Sox Postpone Home Opener Until Friday

(670 The Score) -- With rain in the forecast in Chicago for almost all of Thursday, the White Sox have postponed their home opener by a day.

The White Sox will now host the Mariners at Guaranteed Rate Field at 1:10 p.m. Friday, when temperatures are expected to reach perhaps 60 degrees with dry conditions and partly sunny skies.

All tickets -- mobile or printed -- for Thursday are now good for admission to the rescheduled game Friday. Parking lots will open at 10 a.m. Friday, and gates to the ballpark open at 11 a.m.

The White Sox are off to a 1-3 start and play at the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday afternoon.
