WOODRIDGE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a teen bicyclist in west suburban Woodridge Friday night.
Police said the 15-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle at 1535 West 75th St. in Woodridge about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The bicyclist was trying to cross 75th street when they were struck in the eastbound lane. Police said multiple vehicles appear to be involved in the crash.
The Woodridge Police Department is investigating, and the Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigation Team, a countywide major crash reconstruction team, is investigating the incident.
