CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A man tried to abduct a child near a park in the South Chicago neighborhood.
The incident happened about 3:30 p.m. May 21 in the 8900 block of South Muskegon Avenue, Chicago police said. Bessemer Park is in the same block.
A man in his 50s or 60s approached a young girl and tried to lure her inside of his van, police said. He was driving a white van with "Chevy" written across the front window.
