Ioanna is the Associate Social and Community Editor at WBBM Newsradio. As a member of WBBM’s platform, Ioanna plays a leading role in producing, implementing and sharing content for the organization’s social media outreach.
Prior to her current role, she worked at various newsrooms across the country including WGN-TV, NBC Nightly News, and Weigel Broadcasting. Throughout her career, she also had the privilege of covering Loyola Men's Basketball, which was a huge passion of hers.
Ioanna earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Dance and a master’s degree in Digital Media and Storytelling from Loyola University.
When she's not working, Ioanna enjoys spending time with her friends and family and working on her podcast, Sip With Me!
