Jay Zawaski joined WBBM Newsradio as Managing Editor of Podcasts and Multimedia in September 2021. Prior to his time at WBBM Newsradio, he was an executive producer, writer, host and hockey analyst for 670 The Score, covering all three Blackhawks Stanley Cup Championships.
Jay also owns Madhouse Podcasts, LLC where he manages, hosts and produces a pair of his own podcasts, the Madhouse Chicago Hockey Podcast and the I’m Fat Podcast.
He has served as adjunct faculty at his alma mater, Lewis University (‘01) in Romeoville, and at the Illinois Media School.
He was born in Oak Lawn, Ill., where he attended St. Linus (‘92) and St. Laurence High School (‘96).
Now, Jay lives in Homewood with his wife Hope and daughter Addie. In his free time, he loves coaching softball, listening to music, gaming and podcasting.
