Lauren Brown holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri where she also studied Social Justice. She is the former host of the We Live Here podcast based out of St. Louis Public Radio and PRX. In 2021, she won a National Edward R. Murrow award for her documentary with American Public Media titled Black at Mizzou: Confronting Race on Campus. She is looking forward to building a podcast platform for people across the Chicagoland to tell their stories.
