Since graduating from Columbia College-Chicago in 2015 with a degree in television production and directing Tim has been fascinated with the working of newsrooms in both TV and Radio. Tim interned at WGN TV working on the mid-day news as his first taste of working in a newsroom. He was amazed at what it takes to produce accurate, yet interesting news stories.
Tim also interned at a local Radio station and worked on the content and production of a weekly talk show and podcast. He was also part of the on-air talent reading sponsors advertisements. This is where his love for radio started. Tim took his first radio job as a fill-in Traffic Producer for U.S. Traffic network. Tim joined WBBM’s Traffic Team in March of 2017 and worked mostly overnights as a producer. In July of 2019 Tim took the role of being an associate producer on the news desk. Currently he works in the newsroom and a fill-in traffic producer.
When Tim isn’t working he can be found at most major music festivals and concerts around the city and suburbs. He also has a passion to attend Comic-Con conventions in the city and around the U.S. and adding souvenir cups to his ever-growing collection. Recently Tim began writing his own Movie reviews and posts them on Facebook and Twitter.
