CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- With the preseason officially in the rearview mirror and excitement for next week's regular season opener on the rise, a Bears legend has set up shop in Millennium Park.
Da Coach is in Da Park.
"It's better looking than he is in person," one fan said Friday morning.
It's not your average bobblehead.
Yep that's right, this is no average bobblehead. The Chicago Bears installed a seven-foot tall Mike Ditka bobblehead at Millennium Park near the Washington Street entrance.
"It is a seven-foot tall Mike Ditka bobblehead," said Elaine Delos Reyes, Director of Marketing for the Bears. "Think of a gigantic bobblehead, made of foam who's head actually bobbles. We've heard a lot of people already talking about Green Bay next week. Certainly, Ditka brings a lot of excitement to people."
"I think it's a really nice thing you guys are doing. It's fun."
"It's definitely life-sized with that huge head."
"He's even wearing the classic sweater!"
