Inmates To Graduate From New Culinary Vocational Program At Lake County Jail

The Lake County Jail program is called IN2WORK, a three-day program in which detainees can wind up with a culinary certification and a better chance to get a job in the food industry once they’re out of jail.

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Several jail inmates in the northern suburbs have taken part in a pilot program designed to make it less likely they return to the jail for some other crime. The Lake County Jail program is called IN2WORK, a three-day program in which detainees can wind up with a culinary certification and a better chance to get a job in the food industry once they’re out of jail.
