CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Loyola University’s Sister Jean, a fixture at basketball games, received a special honor for her 100th birthday from Legoland Discovery Center.

Legoland Discovery Center presented Sister Jean with a one-of-a-kind, look-a-like lego statute of herself. The statue stands more than 2.5 feet tall and consists of 10,000 lego bricks showing Sister Jean in her Loyola colors, striped scarf, and glasses. According to Legoland, the statue took over 30 hours to build.

"We wanted to create something memorable for Sister Jean," said Greg Nuse, Master Model Builder at Legoland Discovery Center. "We studied Sister Jean meticulously in order to create this look-a-like, complete with Loyola colors, striped scarf and glasses.  We were fortunate to be able to present it to her in person for her 100th birthday."

In honor of Sister Jean's 100th birthday, Legoland Discovery Center donated 100 tickets to a charity of Sister Jean's choice, Misericordia, a community of care for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
