CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police tased and arrested a man Monday after he allegedly cut two people — including a Chicago police officer — in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.
Officers responded to a person stabbed about 7:50 p.m. in the 6500 block of North Ashland Avenue and found a 25-year-old man with a stab wound to the chin and arm, Chicago police said. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
Police then located the suspect at the Loyola Red Line station, police said. During a foot pursuit, the suspect cut the officer's hand and was then tased by officers.
The suspect, a 23-year-old man, was arrested, police said. The officer was treated and released from a hospital.
