BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) – Small businesses are struggling mightily because of the coronavirus pandemic and with new developments coming rapidly, the region’s most well-known chamber of commerce is doing their part to help companies survive.
The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is educating small businesses about a litany of topics. Most recently, they told small businesses about the impact that the federal stimulus bill will have on them.
“I think our government partners understand the need to support the private sector,” she said. “Not just small businesses but you have manufacturing and restaurant retail operations that are really suffering. I think everyone is pointed at a level understand. We truly are all in this together.”
Specifically, she said elements of the stimulus package like the delay in the tax day, payroll protection act, and SBA loans are beneficial to area businesses.
