(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- One person was injured in an extra-alarm fire early Saturday morning in Ravenswood on the North Side.
The fire started at Smashy Automotive at Clark Street and Argyle Street and spread to Star Auto Repair and Body Shop next door.
Fire Chief Thomas Carbonneau said firefighters were at the scene within three minutes of getting the call.
"We got he call this morning at 5:05 a.m. on a cell phone call-person going by. We responded. We came here. We had heavy fire volume in the one building-the body shop."
Carbonneau also said the firefighters were able to save the building that houses Orange Theory Fitness, which is north of the body shop. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
