NAPERVILLE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police in Naperville say there have been more gun-related arrests at Topgolf than previously thought.
While visitors have been striking golf balls at the Topgolf at 3211 Odyssey Ct. in recent months, Naperville Police have been hitting criminals with gun offenses.

Since September, authorities say 11 gun-related arrests have been made at the Topgolf, many of which involve police spotting firearms in plain sight in the parking lot.

One official tells the Naperville Sun the latest number is a bit higher than originally thought.

Over the weekend, 24-year-old Clarence Lamont Massey Jr. of Chicago was reported to be the eighth person cuffed for gun-related reasons.

Police say they don't quite understand the trend but continue to crack down with help from Topgolf officials.
