CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are looking for the gunman who killed a 16-year-old girl Tuesday on the West Side.
The shooting happened at around 8:15 p.m. near Washington and Lavergne, police said, after an argument between a man and a girl.
Police said the man shot the girl in the eye before taking off. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Cook County Medical Examiner has identified her as Jamica Wright.
A witness told police she also had a gun, but there was no mention of her using it.
Another 16-year-old girl was killed on Monday, police said, in a shooting in South Shore.
