CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police issued a warning following two armed robberies on the city's South Side Sunday afternoon.
The crimes happened just minutes apart in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Around 4:40 p.m., two men wearing black clothing and ski masks got out of a white sedan near 73rd and Calumet. Chicago Police said they walked up to the victims, displayed handguns and demanded their phones and passcodes before fleeing the scene.
About 15 minutes later, the same suspects struck again, just two blocks away near South Prairie Ave.
Officials believe the men are between the ages of 15 and 18.
Residents are reminded to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity.
