(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Safety officers at two separate Chicago colleges are urging students to be on alert – after reports of students being sexually assaulted.
The incidents happened at both Loyola's Lakeshore Campus and near Columbia College downtown.
Loyola says three students were groped by the same suspect within a five-minute span Monday evening. Two were on campus and the third happened at the corner of Loyola and Sheridan.
In a separate incident Tuesday morning, Columbia College says a student was sexually assaulted outside Harold Washington Library at Van Buren and State Street around 9:30 in the morning.
Both schools say they have increased security patrols and urge students to report suspicious activity.
