CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - CPS students at two high schools returned from spring break to find new interim principals.
The principal of Lindblom Math and Science Academy, Abdul Muhammad, and the principal of Hyde Park Academy, Antonio Ross, were both removed following investigations by the CPS Inspector General's Office.
A letter sent to parents and students said both were removed "effective immediately due to an investigation that substantiated findings."
What the allegations and the findings are, at this point, unclear.
Lindbloom students walked out at the start of the school year over the principal's decision to fire a popular assistant principal. One student told the board of education the school was in chaos.
