2 killed, 4 others hurt in crash on southbound DLSD: Police
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive Monday night has killed two people and sent four others to the hospital.
Chicago police said a man driving a Chevy southbound on Lake Shore Drive near McCormick Place changed lanes and hit a Nissan, sending it off the road and into a tree.
It was about 8:45 p.m, and the man driving and a female passenger in the Nissan were killed.
Two more passengers in that car, both 21-year-old women, were taken to the hospital initially in critical condition.
Police said paramedics took the driver of the Chevy and a woman who was his passenger to the hospital in fair condition.
The department's Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
