PARK RIDGE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- After more than 40 years of serving customers, two Park Ridge restaurants have closed for good.
The owners of Perry’s Pizza and Ribs on Devon and Wally’s Restaurant on Northwest Highway are closed.
The note on the door of Perry’s reads "the customer is always right, and you have been the right customer for me all these years." Former owner Nick Straub said he and his customers always had good laughs together. The new owner plans to open under the name, Easy Street Pizza and Beer Garden.
Last weekend was also the last for Wally’s Restaurant. A sign on the door reads that "after 40-plus years of serving the Park Ridge community, it’s with a heavy heart that the eatery closes forever."
