CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a pair of stabbing incidents that occurred Wednesday night in the Woodlawn neighborhood.

Police were called to 66th and Greenwood at about 7 p.m. for a call of a person stabbed.

They found a 34-year-old man with a stab wound to the back of the head.  He said he was stabbed by a male suspect.

He was treated at the scene and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.

Then, there was a second call. Another person was stabbed, at the same location. They found a 42-year-old man had been stabbed in the back of his left shoulder.

He told police he was standing outside drinking when a male suspect stabbed him.  He was also taken to the U of C in fair condition.

Nobody is in custody. Police do know, however, who they’re looking for.
