WHEATON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police in Wheaton say they’re investigating separate incidents that occurred Thursday, leaving two women shaken.
The first incident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Police said a woman who lives on the 600 block of North Scott Street called 9-1-1 saying she woke up to a sound in her bedroom and there was a man standing there. He ran out of the house and was gone when police arrived.
Later in the morning, at about 7:15, a woman called police and said she was out for her morning run. She was on Prairie Avenue near Main Street when, she said, a man started running directly behind her. He stopped and police said as she was returning home she saw the same man standing on her driveway. That’s when she called police.
He was gone before they arrived.
Police are asking area residents to check security cameras as they try to identify the men.
