CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police arrested three people Wednesday night after someone shot at a squad car in the New City neighborhood on the South Side.
Officers were responding to a ShotSpotter alert near 47th and Elizabeth when the department said they heard several gunshots. It was around 8:49 p.m., and police said a bullet went through the windshield of a squad car.
Officers saw people run into a home and arrested three people.
The department said no officer fired their gun, and one was taken to the hospital with minor cuts from shattered glass.
