3 hurt in drive-by shooting outside Englewood liquor store, police say

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -Three men are recovering after they were shot Tuesday night outside a business in Englewood.

Chicago Police found the wounded men when they arrived at 66th and Halsted at about 9:30 p.m.


The victims were between the ages of 51 and 65 and were standing outside the Spirits Beverage Depot when, police said, they were shot by someone in a white van who drove up and then took off.

The youngest victim was shot in the back of the head and taken to the hospital with life-threatening wounds.

A 61-year-old man was in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, and the 65-year-old was in good condition with wounds to his ankle and arm.

No one is in custody.
