CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Three people were hospitalized overnight following a wrong-way crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
Chicago police said the accident occurred around 12:40 a.m., in the southbound lanes of DuSable Lake Shore drive, near 31st Street Beach. A Honda sedan collided with a Ford Expedition.
The male driver of the Ford SUV was sent to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in fair condition while both the male driver of the Honda and his female passenger were transported to University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition.
CPD’s Major Accidents unit continues to investigate the crash.
