(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Three people are now in custody for the murder of a mother of three found inside a gated community in Orland Park earlier this year.

In March, officers found the body of 28-year-old Mechellea Williams inside her car near the Orland Ridge apartments.

She'd been shot multiple times.

On Wednesday, investigators confirmed that the alleged shooter – 29-year-old Kiraun Williams of Chicago – was arrested by federal agents in Las Vegas last month, and was returned to Cook County Tuesday. He’s been charged with first degree murder.

Tyshann Boyd, 28, of Chicago was arrested on Agu. 20 and charged with Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon.

Alexis Hernandez, 20, of Crete was arrested last month and charged with obstructing justice.
