CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Burglars targeted three smoke shops and a dispensary overnight Wednesday in separate neighborhoods.

The burglaries involving the shops on the 2400 block of North Milwaukee, the 4800 block of West Foster, and the 5600 block of West Roosevelt were similar. Two or three males were involved, wearing hoodies. Glass on the storefronts was broken, and merchandise and cash drawers were taken.

In three of the incidents, a white Kia was reported to be involved. The dispensary burglary on the 600 block of West Roosevelt was similar: glass broken, merchandise taken, hoodies, white Kia.

Dispensaries,  it should be noted, are required to keep marijuana products locked up after hours. The burglaries all occurred between roughly 2:50 and 3:50 a.m.

Police said nobody was in custody.
