
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Three people were wounded Friday night in a shooting in a bar near Washington Park on the South Side.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. at the Odyssey II Lounge near Garfield Boulevard and Indiana Avenue.
According to police, someone described as a “known male offender” walked into the bar with a handgun and fired multiple shots at another man who was standing with other individuals.
The man was targeted, police said. He was hit three times in the chest and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
Another man was hit in the leg and was in good condition at University of Chicago Medical Center. A third person, a woman, had a laceration to her head from flying glass.
She was also in good condition. While police know who they’re looking for, he has not been arrested.
