(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Federal authorities have released surveillance images from a robbery of an armored truck this week.
A group of four suspects with guns robbed the vehicle around 10 a.m. Wednesday on Sibley Boulevard in Calumet City before fleeing the scene. A driver is believed to have assisted them.
No injuries were reported.
The Calumet City incident was one of two armored truck robberies that occurred Wednesday. The other occurred in south suburban Lansing.
