4 wounded in West Side drive-by shooting: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A drive-by shooting in Lawndale on Chicago’s West Side Tuesday night sends four men to the hospital.

The men were standing near the sidewalk around Roosevelt and Whipple, police said, when someone shot at them from a white car driving by.

It was around 6 p.m.

Paramedics took two of the victims to the hospital. A 58-year-old man listed in critical condition was shot in the chest and leg. A 29-year-old man was described in serious condition, with wounds to his arm and foot.

Police said two other men took themselves to the hospital for treatment.  Both the 31-year-old and 32-year-old were in fair condition.

Police are looking for the shooter.
