Six people were hospitalized, five of them from an apparent overdose Sunday afternoon at Lawlor’s Bar in Mount Greenwood on the Southwest Side, authorities said.
Authorities responded to the bar near 111th and Millard at about 3:20 p.m. for an apparent overdose, according to Chicago police and fire officials.
Five men were taken to area hospitals in fair-to-serious condition, officials said. Their conditions were stabilized.
Another person was hospitalized with an “unrelated orthopedic injury” that occurred in the same vicinity, fire officials said. Their condition was also stabilized.
