CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Five people are recovering after a car hit a CTA bus on the Near West Side Monday.
Chicago Police said they arrested a person who was inside a black Infinity that ran a red light at Washington and Damen and then hit a CTA bus. It was shortly after 5:30 p.m., and police said the crash caused the bus to hit a fence and an apartment building.
People inside the Infinity ran away, but police said they caught one.
Meanwhile, paramedics took five people from the bus to the hospital with minor injuries.
There was no damage to the building.
