
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A shooting on the West Side this morning wounded a five-year-old boy.
Chicago Police said the young boy was standing outside with a man at Laramie near Division, in the Austin neighborhood, when sounds of gunfire were heard.
The boy suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg and was rushed to Stroger Hospital. Police listed him in stable condition.
Nobody else was hurt. No one is in custody.
CPD Area detectives are investigating.
