NEW LENOX (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A seven-car crash this morning on southwest suburban I-80 resulted in an over a two hour closure and left several injured.
According to Illinois State Police, the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. on I-80 Westbound near Route 30 in New Lenox. There were minor injuries.
All westbound lanes in the vicinity were immediately shut down and did not reopen until around 8 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
