72-year-old man fatally shot in Logan Square, CPD says

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 72-year-old man was shot and killed in Logan Square Sunday night.

Chicago Police said the man was shot at about 10 p.m. on the 3900 block of West Fullerton.

The man, identified as Cesar A. Patino, was walking outside when he was struck in the chest by gunfire.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Further investigation revealed the offender was possibly driving a white SUV.

Police say no arrests have been made. Area Five Detectives are investigating.
