
HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An elementary school in Highland Park that was evacuated Thursday morning has be declared "all clear" with "no cause for concern" after a bomb threat was reported.
Students at Red Oak Elementary School were evacuated and moved to Sherwood Elementary School, according to a Facebook post by North Shore School District 112.
Dr. Michael Lubelfeld, Superintendent for the district announced that the building was "thoroughly searched", but nothing was found. Operations would resume as normal at 11:30 a.m.
The start time for Red Oak and Sherwood was delayed by two hours, but all other schools were operating as normal.
