Fans of the Queen of Country music's acting career have a chance to rewatch some classics.
Dolly Parton is being remembered across the globe following her death at the age of 80.
Joining in is AMC, which will be honoring Parton by showcasing two of her movies at theaters across the U.S., including several in the Chicago area.
The 1989 classic 'Steel Magnolias', starring Sally Field, Shirley MacLaine and Julia Roberts, showcases Dolly as the warm hearted hair aficionado Truvy.
Parton stars opposite fellow heartthrob Burt Reynolds in the 1982 comedy “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.”
Both films are playing at select AMC theaters through Wednesday, Sept. 2, including Naperville and Crestwood.
