(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- American Airlines announced some service changes.

AA will be adding shorter, regional flights to and from O’Hare Airport as the industry faces a pilot shortage largely affecting regional service.

AA is partnering with Air Wisconsin, which will operate up to 60 planes with American Eagle flights beginning in March. Most of the new flights are expected to serve Chicago.

AA does not yet have an exact number of the new flights operated by Air Wisconsin that would serve O’Hare or a list of destinations they will fly to.
