A federal immigration agent shot and killed a man in Franklin Park Friday morning.
ICE says officers pulled over a vehicle when the driver resisted, hit an officer with his car, and dragged him while trying to flee. The agent then fired.
Both were taken to a hospital. The suspect died, and the officer suffered severe injuries but is in stable condition at this time.
The FBI says it is assisting in the investigation. Franklin Park police are referring all questions to federal authorities.
