(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — More snow is expected this week, and it could create problems for commuters.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Chicago region that will run from noon Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.
Between 3 to 6 inches of snow is expected to fall in Chicago, the south suburbs and Northwest Indiana, AccuWeather says. Areas west and north of the city could see 1 to 3 inches of snow.
Slippery roads may impact Thursday’s evening commute and possibly even travel conditions for Friday morning. Temperatures are expected to be in the 20s to the low-30s.
