In 2017, Chih-Yee Jen was working for Philips Medical Systems in Aurora.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says that after China-based Kunshan Guoli Electronic Technology Limited Co. talked to Jen about business deals, Jen shared confidential Philips documents with the Chinese company and copied X-ray trade secret information from Philips to develop tech for Kunshan.
This month, a jury in Chicago found Jen guilty of stealing trade secrets.
Jen will be sentenced in January.
