CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - There were over a dozen injured after a school bus and car collided head-on the Southwest Side.

The Chicago Fire Department said the crash occurred near 31st and Kedzie, in the Little Village neighborhood. The accident occurred around 10:15a.m., police said.

Fire officials said 17 people were hurt, 16 transported to area hospitals, including both the vehicles’ drivers. They are described in critical condition.
